CHAPEL HILL
This community was named after the hometown of John Laws, an early settler from Chapel Hill, North Carolina in the early 1800s. Chapel Hill is also the boyhood home of General Nathan Bedford Forrest, who served in the Confederate Army during the Civil War. The community was chartered in 1889.
